İnanç Turizmi ve "Anadolu’ya Yazılan Yedi Mektup - Yedi Şehir” Tur Rotası İzmir için çok önemli projelerden bir tanesidir. Vatikan, İsrail ve Suudi Arabistan inanç turizmi kapsamında her yıl milyonlarca turiste ev sahipliği yapıyor. İspanya ve Yunanistan kendilerine yer açmaya çalışıyorlar. İzmir bu yarışta yer alabilir mi? Biz “EVET” diyoruz. İzmir eşsiz tarihi zenginlikleri ile Katolik, Ortodoks, Protestan, Musevi, Müslüman turistlere ayrı ayrı programlar sunabilecek ve her yıl milyonlarca turiste ev sahipliği yapabilecek kapasitededir. İnanç Turizmi kapsamında, İzmir turizmi için önemli potansiyele sahip "Anadolu’ya Yazılan Yedi Mektup - Yedi Şehir” Tur Rotası’nın pazarlanması için, uluslararası bir toplantı başlatıyoruz. 7-13 Haziran 2025 tarihleri arasında düzenleyeceğimiz 2. Yedi Kiliseler Konulu Uluslarası İzmir Toplantısı’na Güney Afrika, Brezilya, Guatamela, Amerika, Kanada, Filipinler, Filistin, Israil, Avustralya, İngiltere, Fransa ve Ukrayna’dan bireysel katılımlar olması (pandemi nedeniyle katılımın beklenenden düşük olmasına rağmen) sevindiricidir. Uluslararası arenada farkındalık yaratacağına inandığımız bu ilk toplantının bir kıvılcım olacağını, sonrasında "Anadolu’ya Yazılan Yedi Mektup - Yedi Şehir” Tur Rotası talebinde, dolayısıyla İzmir konaklamalarında büyük bir talep patlaması yaşanacağına inanıyoruz. Tüm İzmirlileri, otel yetkililerini, yerel yönetimleri, ilgili sivil toplum kuruluşlarını, seyahat acentalarını konuyla ilgilenmeye davet ediyoruz. Akıllı Turizm Politikaları ile 12 ay pazarlanabilecek "Anadolu’ya Yazılan Yedi Mektup - Yedi Şehir” Tur Rotasına ve İnanç Turizmine sahip çıkalım. Sonuçta İzmir kazanacaktır.
